Description: Do you want to take your sketches and doodles to the next level and create a final, complete work of art? This class is for you! We will break down all of the steps in creating a fully realized drawing - gathering source materials, choosing a medium, discussing style considerations, the elements and principles of design, and developing your own personal workflow. Over the course of three weeks, each student will create their own drawing of a garden. This subject matter can be widely interpreted in a variety of ways. Students can choose their own approach to drawing - from realistic to more simplified to repeating patterns. This class is meant to help students break down the process of art creation into manageable steps that will eliminate the anxiety of the big blank page! This class is perfect for all levels, from beginner to advanced. No drawing experience necessary! Some art supplies will be available to use during the class but because students will need to work on their drawings at home, it is suggested that students have their own drawing supplies of choice.
Drawing Papers are included
Pens, markers, pencils will be provided the first day of class to determine what markers, pens, or pencils you would like to use for your artwork & invest in. We will assist you in that process!
